History
Football is no longer a game for the school drop-out and the unlearned but a mastermind behind national unity, economic growth and possibly development, and a medium through which both the young and the old ponder over their dreams with an indefatigable sense of determination to achieve great things for themselves, family, as well as nation. Today it is not only boys ar men who are making the game more fascinating but also young girls with soul and spirit are trying to take the game to another level.
Many of these girls who are trying to develop this game are from poor or deprived families. It is their aim to play the game and also make their impact in the society. After going round town and seeing these girls, two friends Thomas and Ignitious decided to bring the girls together and help them. They created for them an avenue to develop their talent.
These Friends had to put some of them to school and also help with their daily bread. To give these girls the opportunity to show their skills, these friends registered with the National Football Association(Ghana football Association) and formed a club that will enable these girls play in competitive matches in order for them to be able to display their talent.
The only unfortunate aspect of their toil was that the women league in Ghana has no support coming to them from the government. This is making their work quiet difficult and also tedious to do. An interview with these guys reveled that they have made up their minds to do the best they can do for these girls. I quote "with God on our side we hope to help each of these girls see their dreams come true".
